Health through Oral Wellness®

Northeast Delta Dental is proud to offer Health through Oral Wellness® – better known as HOW® – our industry-leading, patient-centered oral health program designed to promote good oral and overall health for all Northeast Delta Dental members.

Northeast Delta Dental is here to help empower you to take charge of your overall wellness.

Let us show you HOW®.

If your Northeast Delta Dental plan includes the HOW program, follow these steps below to activate the preventive benefits you need to stay healthy:

Step 1:

The dentist or hygienist performs a clinical oral health risk assessment and submits it to Northeast Delta Dental electronically and receives a score.

Step 2:

Members scoring between 3 and 5 on a five-point scale are immediately eligible fior enhanced benefits*.

Know your score

Are you at risk for tooth decay or gum disease? Now you can take a free oral health risk assessment and receive your scores immediately. You can bring these self-assessment scores to your dental office to have them submit your oral health information to Northeast Delta Dental to see if you qualify for additional preventive care at little to no out of pocket costs to you and any family members on your plan. Simply answer a brief online risk assessment questionnaire by clicking the link below.

What is HOW® ?
