Northeast Delta Dental and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats announce fourteenth year of oral health challenge

Northeast Delta Dental and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats recently hosted excited young fans to the stadium for the first Oral Health Challenge game on June 22. In its fourteenth year, the program aims to encourage children to develop healthy oral hygiene habits while enjoying a fun-filled day at Delta Dental Stadium.

The Oral Health Challenge encourages children aged 12 and under to brush their teeth twice and floss once daily for a week. By completing the challenge, participants earn two tickets to a Fisher Cats game at Delta Dental Stadium, a goody bag and further recognition with an on-field parade before the game.

“Good oral health is essential for overall health,” explained Tom Raffio, President & CEO, Northeast Delta Dental. “This program, encouraging children to develop solid oral health care routines, is a fun way to engage children in habits that will benefit their overall health and well-being for a lifetime.”

"The Oral Health Challenge is a wonderful way to promote healthy lifestyles, engage with our community, and reward children,” added Andrew Marais, Director of Marketing, The New Hampshire Fisher Cats. “When there is an Oral Health Challenge game, we know there will be a lot of glowing smiles in the ballpark!”

To participate in the Oral Health Challenge, parents or guardians can obtain a form at their in-network Northeast Delta Dental dentist. Forms can also be downloaded from the Northeast Delta Dental website (nedelta.com) or the New Hampshire Fisher Cats website (nhfishercats.com). In addition to the two free tickets earned through the challenge, families can purchase additional tickets for $10.00 each.

The three remaining Oral Health Challenge games will take place on July 26, August 8, and August 30.
