Northeast Delta Dental Foundation Marks $10 Million Milestone with 2026 Oral Health Grants

30th anniversary video highlights grantees turning funding into action across Northern New England

Northeast Delta Dental Foundation today announced it granted $1,467,809 to 67 organizations, supporting oral health across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. This year’s giving coincides with the Foundation’s 30th anniversary and brings cumulative grantmaking to more than $10 million.

The $10 million represents three decades of supporting organizations that are working to improve access to oral health care and education. From bringing preventive care into schools and expanding access for underserved populations to investing in education and new dental technologies, their work is helping address oral health needs throughout Northern New England.

“This milestone belongs as much to the organizations doing the work as it does to the Foundation,” explains Jennifer Beyer, Senior Manager, Corporate Giving. “The grantees are our ‘boots on the ground,’ identifying and reaching out to those with the greatest need in the community.”

2026 Grants Support Oral Health Across the Region

Northeast Delta Dental Foundation provides grants in two rounds annually – in March and September. This year those rounds resulted in $1,467,809 awarded to 67 organizations across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Maine’s Oasis Free Clinic received $11,992 for dental supplies. The Dismas Home of New Hampshire’s Project Smile utilized its $10,000 award to provide dental care to several clients. In Vermont, a $20,000 grant funded the “We’ve Got A Chair For You” dentist recruitment program.

Their Work is the Story

In recognition of the $10 million milestone and 30th anniversary, Northeast Delta Dental Foundation created a video featuring a few of the organizations that illustrate what these investments can make possible. They include:
