Delta Dental Plan of Maine Elects Lisa Landry, Stephen Mitchell and Cortland Stiles as Board Members

Delta Dental Plan of Maine announces the election of three new members to its board. Lisa Landry, Stephen Mitchell and Cortland (Chip) Stiles will each serve a three-year term which began on July 1, 2026.

Lisa Landry is an experienced attorney with several years of expertise in resolving healthcare law matters as well as labor and employment, higher education benefits and compliance issues, potentially impacting business operations. As Senior Associate General Counsel for the University of Maine System, she serves as a primary legal advisor to senior administrators and campus personnel on a broad range of complex legal issues. She also serves as legal counsel to Redington-Fairview General Hospital.

She holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University, Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Maine, Orono. Dedicated to community service she serves as board member on Main Street Skowhegan, is a member and past president of Skowhegan Rotary Club and a board member of Redington Memorial Home.

Stephen Mitchell is a proven senior leader with extensive experience in both finance and operations. He started his career at Unum, rising to serve several top executive roles, most recently as senior vice president and president for the discontinued businesses division.

A recipient of a Master of Arts in Mathematics from University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Bowdoin College, Mitchell is active in his community serving as board member of the Boys and Girls Club, Southern Maine.

Chip Stiles is the former associate vice president and chief information officer of Saint Joseph’s College in Maine. He brings experience in nonprofit governance, strategic oversight and information technology leadership with strength in cybersecurity, data governance and risk management.

Stiles received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Maine. He is a graduate of the Leadership Portland, class of 2025.
