Northeast Delta Dental and Vermont Lake Monsters launch first annual Brush Like a Champ Challenge

With the goal of turning daily dental hygiene into a fun, lifelong habit, Northeast Delta Dental, in partnership with the Vermont Lake Monsters, invites children to practice good oral health care for a week, in exchange for two free tickets to a game at Delta Dental Diamond at Centennial Field.

In its first year, the 2026 program addresses a critical need: making dental health engaging for the next generation. The challenge aims to curb childhood tooth decay and instill positive habits that stick long after the challenge ends.

"Our mission is to shift the conversation around dental hygiene from a daily chore to an exciting achievement for kids," said Tom Raffio, President & CEO. "When we make oral health fun and accessible, we aren't just preventing cavities today—we are setting children up for a lifetime of health and confidence."

"The Vermont Lake Monsters are thrilled to team up with Northeast Delta Dental to help support healthy habits for our young fans." said C.J. Knudsen, Senior Vice President. "Champ brushes his teeth twice a day and also flosses daily. He is truly a "champ" for being such a great role model on and off the field." said Knudsen

The 2026 Brush Like a Champ Challenge is free and open to any child from age 12 and under. Participants who brush twice and floss once daily for one week will receive their choice of two tickets to one of four games. In addition to the free tickets earned through the challenge, families can purchase additional general admission tickets for children and adults at $6 and $12, respectively. They will also receive a goody bag and can participate in a pre-game on-field parade.

Brush Like a Champ forms are available at any in-network Northeast Delta Dental dentist and can also be downloaded directly from nedelta.com or vermontlakemonsters.com. The three remaining Brush Like a Champ games will take place on July 28, July 30 and August 6.
