Foundation Grants for Vermont Oral Health Programs


BURLINGTON, VT - The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $40,500 to Vermont oral health programs.   For more than two decades, the Foundation has supported organizations and initiatives that provide oral health education and improve access to dental care in Vermont communities.

Grant recipients include:

Ottauquechee Health Foundation, Woodstock, $1,000 for its Good Neighbor Program; Community Health Centers of Burlington, $10,000 for the expansion of its school-based dental center; Dental Lifeline Network Vermont (Donated Dental Services), $9,500 to help with the costs of the coordinator; United Way of Windham County, $5,000 for the day of free adult dental care that benefits Addison, Bennington, Chittenden, Rutland and Washington Counties; University of Vermont Medical Center, $10,000 to support its General Practice Residency Program; Windsor Hospital, Windsor, $5,000 to support Windsor Smiles, a school-based dental program in conjunction with the Upper Valley Smiles Program.
