Foundation Grants for New Hampshire Oral Health Programs


The Northeast Delta Dental Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $152,000 to New Hampshire oral health programs.   For more than two decades, the Foundation has supported organizations and initiatives that provide oral health education and improve access to dental care in New Hampshire communities.

Grant recipients include: Ammonoosuc Community Health, Littleton, $10,000 for dental equipment; Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, Dover, $1,000 for its celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month; Concord Dental Sealant Coalition, $6,000 for its school-based oral health program serving Concord, Pittsfield, Penacook, Webster, Boscawen and Loudon; Concord Hospital, $30,000 supporting its dental center over three years; Dental Lifeline Network New Hampshire (Donated Dental Services), $15,000 toward the costs of the program coordinator; Easter Seals New Hampshire, Manchester, $50,000 to support its dental center over five years; Families First of the Greater Seacoast, Portsmouth, $8,000 for its dental center, Healthy Grins program and mobile van; Harbor Homes, Nashua, $10,000 for an electronic medical records system for its dental clinic; Manchester Community Health Center/Child Health Services, $5,000 for dental services; New Hampshire Children’s Trust, Concord, received $1,000 to sponsor its annual Strengthening Families Summit; New Hampshire Dental Hygienists’ Association, $1,000 for continuing education courses; New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, $15,000 for dental services provided through its WIC program.
