Dental Benefit Plans for Employers and Groups

Northeast Delta Dental administers dental benefits to more than 740,000 people in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont and designs programs for organizations of all sizes.

Delta Dental PPOSM

Delta Dental PPO is one of our contracted national network based programs. Participating PPO dentists agree to fee schedules as payment in full. These schedules provide deeper discounts that result in greater savings to groups and enrollees.

As with all Delta Dental networks, PPO dentists agree to processing policies and are prohibited from billing and collecting fees in excess of the agreed upon schedule. Delta Dental PPO allows enrolled patients to visit any dentist but offers additional savings when visiting a PPO network dentist.

Delta Dental Premier®

Delta Dental Premier is one of our contracted national network based programs. Participating Premier dentists agree to processing policies and are prohibited from billing and collecting fees in excess of their contracted fees. This translates into claims savings for groups and enrollees. Delta Dental Premier allows enrolled patients to visit any dentist but offers additional savings when visiting a Premier network dentist.

Delta Dental Premier is the single largest dental provider network in the United States.

Delta Dental PPO plus Premier

Delta Dental PPO plus Premier affords all of the benefits of Delta Dental PPO with a plus: enrolled patients who access a participating Delta Dental Premier dentist (who is not in the PPO network) still receive the benefit of that dentist's contracted fee. Delta Dental PPO plus Premier allows enrolled patients to visit any dentist but offers additional savings when visiting either a PPO or a Premier network dentist.

This program supplies patients with our unique safety net feature, adding a level of financial security for enrollees and groups that is unequaled in the industry.

We offer two plan types for employer groups.

Our Small Group Options are designed for groups with 2-99 enrolled employees, and offer both flexibility and affordability.  And with the added benefit of being part of a community-rated pool with thousands of other members, employers and employees are also assured of long-term rate stability.

Dental Plans for Large Groups is for employer groups with 100 or more employees.  Northeast Delta Dental offers plan design flexibility.  From fully insured to self insured, we have a plan that will work for you.
