Delta Dental Plan of Maine Elects New Board Directors

Saco, Maine:  Delta Dental Plan of Maine announces the election of two new board directors: Scott W. Normandeau and Katherin E. O’Grady.

An Arundel, Maine, resident, Normandeau is a retired Air Force and Air National Guard Colonel with over 30 years of information technology, communications and cybersecurity experience. Upon retirement, he served as the Chief Information Officer for the Army and Air National Guard in Washington, D.C. After retirement, Normandeau launched Kennebunk Cyber Systems, a Maine-based cybersecurity consulting business.

Normandeau earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.; followed by extensive Air Force training that included graduating from the Air Force Senior Cyberspace Management program and earning a Masters Certificate in computer security from the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.

O’Grady, a Cumberland, Maine resident, is a recently retired Vice President IT – Operation Services at Unum in Portland, where she led a team of more than 80 IT professionals. She has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience, combining expertise in management, information technology, product development, sales and customer service.

O’Grady earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. In addition to serving on the board of The Woodlands Club, Falmouth, her volunteer efforts have benefitted Portland High School, Windham High School, The Women’s Maine State Golf Association and The First Tee of Maine, where she taught the fundamentals of golf to children.
