About the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation
Our Mission
The mission of Northeast Delta Dental Foundation is to improve access to, and the quality of, dental health and education for the public and the dental communities in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
Northeast Delta Dental Foundation was established in December of 1995 to help meet the oral health needs of the communities of the states we serve--Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The Foundation is dedicated exclusively to improving oral health. With cutbacks in social services, the importance of oral health education and preventive oral health care has made the Foundation a critical arm of Northeast Delta Dental.
The Foundation does not support any community events or organizations unrelated to the promotion of oral health.
Delta Dental Plan of Maine, Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire, and Delta Dental Plan of Vermont jointly do business as Northeast Delta Dental to administer the dental benefits of over 735,000 people. Northeast Delta Dental offers dental insurance programs for organizations of all sizes and people with no access to employer-sponsored dental insurance programs.
The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded through annual grants from Delta Dental Plans of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Funds are also received from the generous gifts of individuals and fundraising activities.
